I just found a great article on entrepreneur.com - Blurred Vision
Don’t expect your employees to be carbon copies of yourself. It takes an owner to have the dedication of an owner.

This is one of the areas that I've been struggling with in my store. It's hard when it feels like my employees aren't as committed to fabulous customer service as I am. I try to explain to them what I expect of them, but it ends up coming out like criticism.
But the article says that it takes seven years on average for entrepreneurs to realize that their employees have a different agenda than they do - so I'm ahead by 5 years! :-)
